Activity Remarks
Introduction to Equipment Students are briefed on the use of different adventure related gears and ropes.
Trust fall Trust fall is a classic activity because it is so effective at helping a team to explore the issue of trust. Each member has to fall backwards from a height of 5ft on the stretched arms of his/her team members.
Learn to tie Knots This allows the students to use the rope for many special purposes. Like to let them tie into the rope, anchor themselves and also to join ropes of equal and unequal diameters.
Parallel Ropes These are two parallel lines tied at a certain height in which the students will have to cross from one side to the other, holding the top line and balancing with their feet on the bottom line. This activity develops compassion, empathy, communication and cooperation amongst group members.
Monkey Crawling   This is an activity which requires a lot of physical strength and determination. Each member has to traverse on a thick jute rope using the arm and calf muscles. During the activity a belay is tied for safety reasons.
