Day 1: Arrive in Gangotri (3065 M):

Begin your Mt . Satopanth Expedition by departing from Dehradun early in the morning, embarking on a scenic drive to Gangotri that spans approximately 10-12 hours. Your journey commences as you arrive in the sacred town of Gangotri, nestled at an altitude of 3065 meters. Take in the spiritual ambiance and check into your accommodation.
Spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude and exploring the revered Gangotri Temple.
Meet your trekking guide for a briefing on the upcoming adventure.
Enjoy a wholesome dinner and rest for the trek ahead.

Day 2:Day 2: Acclimatization in Gangotri, Acclimatization Walk to Nala Camp

 

On the second day of your expedition, dedicate the day to acclimatization in the picturesque town of Gangotri. Acclimatization is a crucial process to adapt your body to the increasing altitude, reducing the risk of altitude-related illnesses. Engage in a gentle acclimatization walk to Nala Camp, a serene location offering stunning views of the surrounding landscapes.

After breakfast, take a leisurely stroll to Nala Camp, which serves as an ideal acclimatization point. This walk allows your body to adjust to the higher altitude gradually. The route may offer glimpses of the mighty Himalayas and the pristine beauty of the Gangotri region.In the evening, return to Gangotri for a restful night. Use this time to relax, enjoy the local surroundings, and mentally prepare for the upcoming trekking challenges. A good night’s sleep is essential for physical recovery and readiness for the next day’s trek to Bhojbasa.

Day 3: Gangotri to Bhojbasa (3780 M) – Trek 14 Kms | 6 Hrs

Embark on a 4-5 hour trek covering 14 km to reach Bhojbasa at 3780 meters. The trail unfolds mesmerizing Himalayan sights and breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks. Meals include Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 4: Bhojbasa – Gaumukh (3892M) – Nandanvan (4340 M) – Trek 10 Kms | 5 Hrs

Experience a beautiful trek to Gaumukh, the source of the River Ganges, with stunning views of Mt. Shivling and Mt. Bhagirathi. Proceed to Nandanvan, an alpine meadow at the juncture of Chatrungi Glacier and Gangotri Glacier. Overnight in Tents at Nandanvan with meals provided.

Day 5: Nandanvan – Vasuki Tal (Base Camp) (4500 M) – Trek 10 Kms | 5 Hrs

Trek to Vasuki Tal, the base camp of Mount Satopanth, covering 10 km in 4-5 hours. Set up the base camp for the next two weeks, surrounded by the scenic beauty of the area. Meals include Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 6: Rest & Acclimatization Day at Vasuki Tal Basecamp

Enjoy a day without a planned schedule. Relax in your comfy stay, explore the surroundings, and witness the stunning views of snow-peaked mountains. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 7 & 8: Load Ferries to Advance Base Camp (5350 M)

Prepare for the next phase by loading ferries to the Advance Base Camp. Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are in place for the higher altitudes.

Day 09: Shift to Advance Base Camp from Vasuki Tal

 

Day 10-12: Load Ferry from ABC to Summit Camp (5800 M)

Prepare for the summit push by loading ferries from the Advance Base Camp to the Summit Camp at 5800 meters.

Day 13: Occupy Summit Camp (5800 M)

 

Day 14: Route Opening to Summit & Back to Summit Camp

 

Day 15-17: Reserve for Summit Push to Mt Satopanth (7075M) and Back to Summit Camp (5800 M)

Allocate these days for the summit push to Mount Satopanth. The reserved days provide flexibility to adapt to weather conditions or unforeseen challenges, ensuring safety during the ascent.

Day 18: Summit Camp to ABC

 

Day 19: ABC to BC – Day 20: Rest Day at BC

 

Descend from the Summit Camp to the Advance Base Camp, followed by a transition to the Base Camp. Take a well-deserved rest day at the Base Camp.

Day 21: Base Camp – Bhojbasa Trek 20 Kms

Embark on a 20 km trek from the Base Camp to Bhojbasa. Set up camp for an overnight stay.

Day 22: Bhojbasa to Gangotri and Overnight Stay in Gangotri – 14 Kms Trek

 

Day 23: Departure from Gangotri to Dehradun – End of Parvat Exploration  Expedition

 

Day 24: Contingency Day/Bad Weather Day

This day is reserved for unforeseen circumstances or bad weather, providing flexibility in your expedition plans.

Inclusions

1.Meals during the trek: Coverage from dinner on Day 1 to Breakfast on Day 23/24 ensures participants are provided with necessary sustenance throughout the trek.
2.Forest Permits/Camping Charges: covering permits and charges for camping in the designated forest areas.
3.Accommodation: 4 Season Tents on a triple-sharing basis, Thermal rated sleeping bags, and mats are provided for a comfortable and restful night’s sleep. Guest house/hotel stays in Gangotri on Day 1,2 & 22/23 are also included.
4.Support Staff: Experienced trek guides, cooks, helpers, and mules or porters are included for carrying common supplies, facilitating a smoother trekking experience.
5.Expedition Leader: IMF Approved Expedition Leader
6.Transportation: Dehradun to Gangotri & Back transport included.
7.Technical Equipment – PP Ropes, Helmet, Ice Axe, Crampons, Mountaineering Boots, Snow Stake, Dead Man/Boy

3.Personal Expenses: Any expense of a personal nature, such as additional meals, snacks, or personal items, is not included.

5.Any costs arising from early departure from the expedition
